NAYPYIDAW (BNO NEWS) — A series of bomb blasts hit a hydropower plant project site in Myanmar on early Saturday, Chinese state media reported.
The explosions happened around 2.45 a.m. local time in Myitsone, in Myanmar’s northernmost Kachin state. A witness told the Chinese state-run Xinhua news agency that the blasts happened around 2.45 a.m. local time, with three of them at the worksite. A fourth blast hit a migrant residential area. The report said one person sustained minor injuries.
