Burma: Global Day of Action for Humanitarian Intervention
Calling for a Critical Response to Burma's Unfolding Humanitarian Crisis

http://burmarelief.ca/br/

The deadly cyclone Nargis hit Burma on May 3, 2008 and has reportedly killed more than 200,000 people.
In the aftermath of deadly cyclone, more than 2.5 million victims are facing starvation, diseases and abhorrent act of crime against humanity of the ruling military regime.
The Burmese military regime has consistently hindered the international community from providing food, water and medical supplies to the areas hardest hit by the cyclone.
On Saturday May 17th, thousands of people will gather across the world to call for the international community to intervene the humanitarian crisis in Burma.
The rally will be held to urge world governments and the United Nations to intervene by supplying aid to the people affected by the Cyclone Nargis to save millions of people lives.
