Are you interested in supporting the survivors of Cyclone Nargis

Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar on 2 and 3 May 2008, devastating much of what was in its path: knocking out power lines, flooding villages, polluting fresh water sources and farm land with salt water, blocking roads and destroying infrastructure.
Are you interested in supporting the survivors of Cyclone Nargis? The International Rescue Committee is a private, non-sectarian relief agency launching health, sanitation, shelter and other emergency assistance to victims of the disaster. The IRC is seeking experienced humanitarian professionals interested in supporting our relief efforts.
Suitable profiles needed:
• Doctors
• Nurses
• Public Health Specialists
• Water and Sanitation Engineers
• Builders
• IT Specialists
• Communication and Programme Communication Specialists
• Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists
• Procurement/Logisticians
• Human Resources/Administration Managers
If you are a national or resident of Myanmar with experience in the above areas, fluency of English, with immediate availability, apply with your CV (in English) with a letter of interest for professional positions based in both the country office of Yangon and field offices in the Delta Townships to Aroonrat@ircthailand.org. Positions will be filled on a rolling basis.
